BAND MEMBERS
Each with many years of playing experience, the four members of The Michael D. Band have vast, yet diverse musical backgrounds. Their courteous professionalism and tight, consistent, and energized performances have quickly made them a favorite with the fans and with venues across the country.
MICHAEL DIEKHOFF
(Vocals/Rhythm Guitar/Mandolin)

As a native of Indiana, Michael began his musical career as a Solo Artist at DePauw University, where he also played football and ran track. He earned his degree in Biology and moved on to play music for five years around Nashville, where he became an accomplished songwriter. Since then, Michael has been touring the country and has also had a recording contract with Hag Records.
KEVIN RAWLINGS
(Lead guitar/Vocals)
Born and raised in the Heart of Kentucky, one of Kevin’s many credits include working as the Guitar Tech for six years for Country music superstar, John Michael Montgomery. His abilities as a guitar player, sound engineer, vocalist, and his wisdom from years of national touring make him a cornerstone of the Michael D. Band.
AARON FRANCIS
(Bass Guitar/Vocals)

Aaron currently resides in Richmond, KY, although his military upbringing has taken him all over the globe. One of his passions is aeronautics, and earned his private pilot’s license at the age of nineteen. Drawing from a diverse range of musical influences, including progressive Rock Bands such as Rush and Yes, Aaron is a first rate bass player and singer. He is also and accomplished Classical Guitar Player, a skill that he honed in on while attending Belmont College in Nashville, TN.
BRENT JOHNSON
(Drums/Vocals)

Brent spent much of his life in Wisconsin, where he earned a degree in Classical Percussion, taught private music lessons, and played in several successful regional bands. Since then, he has made a living playing music in bands based out of Austin, TX and Kentucky, where he currently resides. In addition to drums, Brent plays a wide variety of other instruments and has played in Country, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Wedding, and Festival Bands.
